Pro statusExtensionPay (below)chrome.storage on your device

The extension runs no code on web pages except for two actions you start: on a blob: image it reads that one image from the page, and on Save all it lists the images on the current tab. It has no analytics, tracking, ads or crash reporting, and it loads no remote code.

Site access

The extension asks for no site access at install. If a site does not let other pages read its images, Chrome asks once, when you save such an image, whether to let Image Type Saver read images on websites. You can decline; the extension then reports that the image could not be read.

Payments (Pro only)

Pro is sold through ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), which uses Stripe for checkout.

What is never collected

Images, image addresses, page content, browsing history, location and usage data. None of it is sent anywhere, sold or shared.

Deleting your data

Uninstall the extension and Chrome deletes its storage. Files already saved in your Downloads folder are yours and are not touched.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

Updates will be posted here with a new effective date. Any change that would send images or addresses off your device would need a new extension version and a clear notice first.
